Amway Europe donates 1 million Euros to support people in need

Amway, n°.1 direct selling company in the world*, keeps its commitment to helping people live better lives with its “Together We Can” campaign.

 

Amway distributors, customers and employees came together to make its “Together We Can” campaign a success raising 500.000 Euros through the sales of face masks, encouraging people to “Protect yourself. Protect your loved ones. And help our communities.” Amway generously matched the profits from each pack of disposable face masks bringing the total donation to 1 million Euros.

“At Amway, we believe in going beyond the traditional ways of doing business to help people live better lives” says Melodie Nakhle, Managing Director – Europe, Southern Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

Indeed, Amway has responded to the COVID-19 crisis making available for purchase a pack of 50 disposable face masks composed of 3-layers with 98% bacterial filtration efficiency.

“We accomplish global results by empowering people to live a healthier life. In keeping with our values, we encourage Amway distributors and our employees to support charities and organizations that mirror their passions and impact their local communities in a powerful way,” explains Melodie Nakhle.

The 1 million Euros will be donated to local charities and organizations, such as Red Cross and Civil Protection, to help those in need throughout Europe.

The “Together We Can” campaign started in 2020 to support COVID-19 relief efforts. Thanks to donations through our website, Amway made an initial donation of 135.000 Euros that same year to local relief agencies around Europe. This additional 1 million Euro donation continues Amway’s commitment to supporting people in need across Europe.
